HORSE ACTIVITY RISK WARNING, LIABILITY WAIVER & INDEMNITY
Property: 10 One Mile Drive, Gumlow QLD 4815. Visitor entrance: Bohle Road.

This risk warning applies to horse owners, riders, participants, visitors, contractors, farriers, veterinarians and other people attending the property. Each adult must sign for themselves. A parent or guardian must complete the form for a participant under 18.

I acknowledge that horses are powerful and unpredictable animals and that horse-related activities involve inherent risks, including serious injury, permanent disability, death and property damage. I voluntarily accept these risks and acknowledge that I enter the Property and participate in horse-related activities at my own risk.

I will comply with Tack Traders Property Rules, follow reasonable directions of the Property Manager, supervise children in my care and keep dogs on leads. I understand that riding and handling horses involve risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release the Property Owner, Tack Traders, the Property Manager and their employees, agents and authorised representatives from liability arising from my presence on the Property or participation in horse-related activities, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded. I agree to indemnify them against claims, losses, costs and damages arising from my horse(s), my actions, my visitors or contractors, or my breach of any applicable Tack Traders Master Horse Agistment Agreement, except where caused by their negligence or other legal liability.

I declare that I have carefully read and understood this document, understand the inherent risks of horse activities, have had the opportunity to ask questions, and sign this document freely and voluntarily. Nothing in this document excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

By typing my full name and accepting the checkbox, I intend to sign this document electronically. If signing for a child, I confirm I am their parent or guardian and consent to their participation. This signature does not sign on behalf of other adult visitors.

Payment is required on booking. Participant cancellations are non-refundable. Refunds are available if wet weather affects the facility or Gumlow needs to reschedule.

The 31 October clinic requires eight participants, with a maximum of ten. Bookings close at 11:59 pm Thursday 29 October, Townsville time. If eight participants have not booked by the deadline, the clinic will not proceed and participants will receive a full refund.
